Client Need and Concept

For this wedding invitation, the clients wanted something personal, eye-catching, and unique to celebrate their big day.  So I designed a card with three panels, each containing detailed cutouts so that glimpses of each subsequent page could be seen from the front.  I used each panel to take the recipient on a journey through time and space to learn about the story of how the couple met, fell in love, and finally decided to tie the knot.  The card contained illustrations on both sides, hence allowing the inclusion of more fun details about the couple.
